More Voice Mail Problems

The University voice mail system is again experiencing some problems.

On the administrative side, your message waiting light may blink when there are no messages. Or, it may not blink when you do have messages.

On the residential side, the voice mail link is down, but there is a work around: Dial 6-2000, press #, enter your mailbox number, then enter your password. You should be able to retrieve messages using this method.

It is not known when the system will be fixed, though it might be sometime this week. Matters have been complicated by the airport shutdowns. The system will be brought down completely for about 20 minutes while the system is being fixed.
