Voice Mail Service Interruptions:

The voice mail system for the university is currently experiencing difficulty. This is a campuswide problem and as a result, callers from both on or off-campus may frequently be unable to reach voice mail. The problem happens intermittently. If you are unable to reach voice mail or get disconnected while in voice mail, you should hang up and keep trying every few minutes until successful. The system is usually down for about 10 minutes before it restarts.

Additionally, the message waiting lights may not signal properly while this problem is being resolved - as long as the system is up when you try, you may check your voice mail for messages by dialing 5-1000 from your phone.

We have identified the part that needs to be replaced, but the problem cannot be corrected until sometime tomorrow (5/26/05). We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
