OIT Residential Services Fee
The "OIT Residential Services Fee" on your bill is a mandatory fee for students living in residence halls. This $102 fee covers both computer networking and telephone services. If you have any questions or concerns about this fee, please call Residential Telecom, 413-545-2103.
Note: Family Housing residents do not pay this fee on their tuition bill. They are billed three times per year (at a rate of $120 for the four month period).
What if I don't use the University's Telephone Service?
The fee and the service are required. If you choose not to use the service that is your choice. The university's emergency response system is configured to know what residence hall room you are calling from in the case of an emergency.
